A Bit About Me

Exploring the rivers of Ardnamurchan as a kid and being treated to the "twilight years" of wild salmon & sea trout returning each year, to see fish farms moving into the inlets and bays around the west coast was a curiosity if nothing else.
Wild fish had been almost forgotten, trout fisheries were springing up all over the UK and the regular anglers coming up to stay in the highland hotels stopped coming. The salmon & sea trout were still returning but in the early 80's when the farms moved in, the wild fish mysteriously disappeared.
It has taken nearly 40yrs of interest and amateur investigation and I hope you enjoy the site as it develops over the coming months.
